WWII US Army Medical Wooden Syringe Box M.D. USA Brass Latch Hinge Dovetail.
This box was designed to hold a glass syringe and needles. Typically morphine was carried in it from all the information that I have read.
Item is in great condition appears to be made of oak or maple. Solid brass hinges and latch. Of course there are some scratches on it due to age and storage but all in all in great condition.
