    M1910 Hand Axe--1942
    Original WW2 GI M1910 hand axe [hatchet], hardened tool steel head with slightly curved hard wood handle. Well marked U.S./AMERICAN FORK & HOE CO. 1942 on one side of head, no markings on handle. Head is bare metal finish with no traces of paint. Handle shows average finish wear but still retains approx. 60% original OD green painted finish, with no cracks or other damage. Head is still nice and tight on handle. Nice clean piece for your WW2 GI field tools/web gear collection or for reenacting/living history use and is in very good condition.
