Ww2 Escape Kit Hacksaw Blade

Description

These hacksaw blades were issued in WWII escape kits to aid shot-down aircrew and paratroopers behind enemy lines to cut through bindings, locks, etc in case of capture. These blades were often hidden somewhere on the soldier's person such as sewn into the waist band, jacket hems, or stuffed into the top of their boot.
These are made from ORIGINAL black uncoated steel blades and are approximately 4" long and approximately 1/2" wide. Because these blades are 75+ years old there is some rust on portions of the blades.
