Lock is stamped: EXCELSIOR - STAMFORD CONN
Interior of trunk is wood with a paper liner/cover. Exterior is metal.
Approx. exterior dimensions:
14" W x 11.5" D x 8.5" H
*When this piece was originally acquired, it contained several personal effects from WWII through Korean War. However, it is not know if this trunk was original government issue or something the previous owner acquired separately to use for storage.
Condition is "Used."
Lock key is missing.
Something was either painted by lock closure and has worn away, or is simply a stain.
Interior liner has multiple small-to-medium scratches, tears and stains, but is otherwise intact.
Exterior has multiple dents and scratches.
Strap has broken away from lid.
