    Description

    This is a handsome find. It is a U.S. Navy ship ash tray. It measures 7 inches in diameter. Bottom of ash tray has a fine Naval Officer’s insignia. Around the border it reads, “U.S.S. PRAIRIE A D 15, WARRANT OFFICER’S MESS”. Heavy solid cast aluminum ash tray. The USS Prairie was launched in December 1939 and was a Dixie class destroyer tender. It’s service included WWII and Korea. It was decommissioned in 1993 and scrapped. Excellent overall condition. All items sold are 100% guaranteed.
