    US NAVY GRAY BATTLE LAMP W/REAR BULK HEAD LUG.
    This is a neat find. It is an original WWII issue US Navy Battle Lamp. This style of lamp was mounted in all US Navy ships, boats and submarines. Heavy duty gray colored lantern is built like a vault and was designed to float. Break resistant lens with bulb.Lens has some cracks. Large carrying handle and the rear has a lug for mounting on the bulkhead of the vessel. Untested condition so assume it is not in working order. This is in used very good condition. Makes the ultimate decorator with your collection. This style of lamp was replaced many decades ago with the newer yellow colored lamps. Many of these were simply scrapped. Don’t miss this one.
