    Description

    This is a rare and hard to find Navy survival item. The M-580A reflex button mirror was issued for only a short time. This emergency signal mirror was designed to be used in both the daylight and at night time. The reflectors could be seen by light shining in the direction of the mirror holder. The reflex button was red in color and was supposed to be seen during night rescues. One side has the standard mirror and the other side had the yellow reflectors with the center having the red reflector. The red reflector has separated but is
    intact. Instructions for use are printed on the inside covers of the mirrors. It is marked, “BUREAU OF AERONAUTICS, UNITED STATES NAVY, SPECIFICATION M-580A”. This style of survival mirror is quite scarce. Don’t miss it. All items sold are 100% guaranteed.
