Text on the back of package was translated and a bit difficult to understand:
#1) use the master link to assemble your chain with the side plate in place, and then #2) use the pin punch of either style to peen the pins to retain the link.
You can also use the first half of the process to prepare a clip-type link for installation of the safety clip.
We've sold a lot of these with almost all happy customers,
but they will break if you don't line up the chain parts before cranking on the bolts with a huge wrench!
