    Description

    This is an M1 carbine leather Jeep scabbard.   Museum quality appears to have been unissued. It is dated 1944 with initials JQMD - ENS stamped at the top. The leather is covered with a heavy coat of wax. This  scabbard is very ruggedly built with all stitching strong and complete. There is some verdigris  present because of the brass fittings but overall unused and totally serviceable if desired.  The scabbard not including the straps is approximately 2 feet long .I am reducing my collection because of age. I have owned this for over 25 years and they are fairly rare.Thanks for looking.   Please feel free to ask questions. Shipping for this item is expensive because it is an oversize package.
