    Original WWII ModelM-1935 Officers Bedroll & Arctic Sleeping Bag
    made
    in 1943 by
    the Rice
    O’Neill
    Shoe
    Company. Owner
    was
    Lt.Col. H. A. Arronet, serial # 0-126892 of the 250
    th
    Anti-Aircraft
    Artillery
    Regiment
    which
    was
    a
    California
    National
    Guard
    Regiment.
    Note
    the
    hand-painted
    name,
    serial #
    and
    unit.
    He must have transferred to
    another
    unit
    later
    because
    there
    is
    also
    anawesome
    CBI
    patch
    painted
    on
    the
    bedroll,
    and
    there is
    no
    indication
    that
    the
    250
    th
    AAA
    served
    in
    the
    CBI
    Theater.
    The
    condition
    of
    the
    bedroll
    is excellent
    and
    the arctic
    sleeping
    bag
    is
    in
    excellent
    condition
    as
    well.
    The
    sleeping
    bag
    is
    thehighly
    desirable
    first
    model
    with
    the
    pink
    rayon
    lining
    which
    has faded to a
    tan
    color
    and
    it
    is
    dated
    1942
    per
    the
    inside
    tag.
    The
    straps
    are
    not
    the original
    set
    but
    are
    original
    WWII
    vintage
    and
    functional.
