    THIS IS A VERY OLD BIT
    We think it would be from the late 1800's
    It is HAND FORGED
    It is not marked that we could see
    THIS IS A ~TWISTED WIRE MOUTH~ SNAFFEL BIT
    This has some rust and we have not tried cleaning it
    The rest of the bit looks to be iron
    Has a 2 piece mouth
    NONE of our bits will you find in today's Modern Western Store as they are all older bits and
    most of the older bits were very well made.
    We are listing several of these type bits including double twisted wire mouth and even one with a chain mouth
    This bit is 14" wide in total including the rings
    The Mouth is 7 1/2"
    The Rings are 2 3/4" across
